Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield who have been established for over 60 years and have have a strong global presence. They are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team and this will be a pivotal role which will help improve the commercial financial budgeting and forecasting process and enable the provision of financial insight and analysis to the business to support the decision-making process and provide accurate business forecasts.They offer an excellent benefits package which includes: - - Competitive Salary: Up to £65,000 (Possibly more for the right candidate)- Hybrid working- 25 days holiday + stats - 7.5% pension - Healthcare scheme - Opportunities to grow and develop your career

This role will be focused on improving budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring variances such as volume, price, mix, inflation are understood. You will support the business by helping making informed decisions and be a strong and effective team player, able to collaborate well with others.It will be a varied role with duties to include: -

  • Support production with the commercial forecasting, variance analysis and communication of the reforecasts to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide insight from data analytics to support challenge on assumptions and rationale behind plans/forecasts
  • Report commercial performance analysis, highlighting trends vs. plan, prior year, and forecast, with reference to future actions to be taken.
  • Support the development and scoping of value-add management information, through tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Translate financial and non-financial metrics into actionable plans to support key stakeholders in driving the business forward

Person Spec: -  

  • Previous experience within Finance, from a Manufacturing/Production business.
  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or final stages
  • Advanced excel skills and initiative in building robust financial models.
  • Experience in using PowerBI / Tableau) would be advantageous
  • Comfortable working with big data sets and translating results into meaningful analysis and incorporating into forecasts
  • Good relationship management and influencing skills
  • Excellent business acumen and sound financial understanding of what underpins performance
  • Ability to communicate numeric and financial information to non-Finance stakeholders
