Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a fast paced and growing business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

The Finance Business Partner will collaborate with Key Stakeholders across the organisations sales and operational teams, across EMEA, to provide financial support to sales activities and support the multiyear account plan which is imperative to further business growth. To provide accurate cross-functional support, the role of Finance Business Partner will have a predominant focus on providing accurate forecasts on future revenue and expenditures, determining budgets and monitoring financial movements within the market.

The role will form a critical interface between finance and the wider business, influencing executive level business decision making, as well as presenting accurate financial information and data to ensure all actions taken are both financially and commercially in line with business objectives.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for leading financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Develop forecasts, models and reports to support multi-year planning and forecasting processes.

  • Tracking of operational variances including P&L analysis, revenue, cost and budget variances.

  • Collaborating with non-finance stakeholders.

  • Collaboration with EMEA stakeholders across client teams to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Responsibility for revenue recognition verification, cost alignment and billing alignment.

  • Responsibility for balance sheet management in line with SOX requirements.

  • Provide accurate reporting of KPIs and variance analysis.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and or automate financial processes where necessary.

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified.
