Please note the role will be office-based 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility can be offered with regards to working hours.
Duties will include: -
- Production of Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts along with supporting commentary and variance analysis (budget vs actual)
- Supervise and manage 1 Accounts Assistant, keeping an oversight of all financial transactions
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Reviewing and setting budgets
- Cashflow forecasting
- Providing supporting data for external Accountants at year end
- Reviewing costs
- Approve all payments coming out the bank
- Provide all payroll information (monthly) and checking all correct before signing off to be paid
- Complete VAT returns, P11d’s, CIS returns, ERS returns and other communication with HMRC
- Attending senior management meetings to align finance with business strategy
- Drive continuous improvement
To be successful you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: -
- 5+ years’ experience in finance
- Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
- Strong communicator
- Able to work to multiple deadlines
- Good analytical skills
