This is a newly created role to support the Financial Controller with all aspects of management and financial reporting while managing a small transactional team:
- Assisting with the full month-end close process including management accounts, stock valuation, balance sheet reconciliations and other reporting, ensuring completion within strict group reporting deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation and reporting of budgets and forecasts.
- Reviewing finance systems and processes.
- Supporting with cashflow management.
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the accounting ledgers.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
- Experience within a group-structured entity is desirable.
- Staff management and the ability to lead a team is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential to develop and maintain working relationships internally and externally, with finance and non-finance people.
