Experienced Finance Manager (Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE) required for a successful, well-established business in Sheffield:

This is a newly created role to support the Financial Controller with all aspects of management and financial reporting while managing a small transactional team:

  • Assisting with the full month-end close process including management accounts, stock valuation, balance sheet reconciliations and other reporting, ensuring completion within strict group reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation and reporting of budgets and forecasts.
  • Reviewing finance systems and processes.
  • Supporting with cashflow management.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the accounting ledgers.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • Experience within a group-structured entity is desirable.
  • Staff management and the ability to lead a team is required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to develop and maintain working relationships internally and externally, with finance and non-finance people.
  • You will have a proactive and motivated attitude.
