Axon Moore are currently partnering with a forward thinking organisation based near Sheffield in the appointment of a Financial Reporting Manager.The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring sounds financial controls are in place and statutory reporting requirements are adhered to, whilst ensuring the team has visionary leadership and their output aligns to the overall strategy of the finance function.Hybrid working will be on offer, and this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a flexible culture and environment, within a values-driven business.Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage the production of annual financial statements and run the year end process
  • Lead the team overseeing the core financial control requirements including reconciliations, balance sheet reporting, cash flows
  • Overseeing cash management and treasury duties
  • Responsible for VAT submissions
  • Playing a key role in the ongoing change, transformation and business improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experiences:
  • Qualified finance leader with a strong financial controls background (ideally ACA or ACCA Qualified)
  • Experience leading a team, ideally in industry, consisting of part qualified and qualified reports
  • A desire to make an impact, be proactive and add value to the overall organisation
