Financial Reporting Manager£65,000 - £75,000 SheffieldHybrid Working 12 Month FTC Elevation Recruitment Group are working exclusively with a market leading business based in Sheffield, who're looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and technical expertise in accounting, reporting, and treasury management. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Manager:
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial deliverables.
- Continuously review financial results, improving controls and processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain service levels and reporting accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors, resolving audit findings promptly.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, including cash management, foreign exchange, and loan management.
- Oversee long-term cash flow forecasting and ensure effective cash management.
- Sign off on treasury tasks, ensuring deadlines and high-quality standards are met.
- Drive change initiatives and set clear targets for continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with key banking partners
Skills Required:
- Strong technical accounting expertise, with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a background in practice.
- Proven experience managing a team (preferably of 6 or more).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in implementing business process improvements.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
