About the Company: We are exclusively working with a successful manufacturing organisation in South Yorkshire, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Finance Director with a strong background in manufacturing to lead a finance team. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance, aligning financial strategies with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performance finance team, fostering collaboration across departments.

  • Financial Strategy: Partner with the CFO on strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Oversee audits, statutory reporting, and deliver key financial insights.

  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance and enhance financial stability.

  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow planning and optimise working capital.

  • Operations: Supervise daily financial operations, implement process improvements, and manage the ERP system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and ERP systems.

This role is available for an immediate start, although largely site based there is the opportunity to work from home one or 2 days per week as required.
