An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Interim Group Finance Manager to join an esteemed professional services team in South Yorkshire. This role will involve overseeing a wide range of financial duties, ensuring all accountancy aspects are managed efficiently.

They are based in South Yorkshire and have a reputation for maintaining a high level of excellence in all their operations. Business size is currently £100 million turnover each year.

Description

  • Assisting in consolidating a number of subsidiaries into a group finance function.
  • Assisting the Finance Director in implementing an appropriate finance system to support the business growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Produce and review stat accounts, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Take ownership of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning across a growing group structure.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, VAT and corporate tax obligations.
  • Management of a medium sized transactional function

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical expertise.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role in a multi-site business.
  • Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in Xero accounting software, with the ability to drive improvements and efficiencies
  • Strong knowledge of cashflow management, audit processes, and financial controls.
