My client are a large shared service organisation based in West Yorkshire, seeking an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team for a minimum of 3 months.
The role requires you to be in the office at least once a week, and is paying up to 25 per hour
Main duties of the role include;
- Oversight of the payroll and pensions department
- Support the team whilst they recruit on a permanent basis
- Answer complex queries within the payroll team
- Engage in project work where necessary
My client is therefore looking for a payroll professional with;
- Local government experience or at least shared services experience
- ITRENT/ Oracle experience
- Strong, up to date legislation and technical knowledge
- High volumes
- Can get stuck in and hit the ground running, providing an arm around the team in a time of uncertainty
- Project experience would also be a bonus
