Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) is one of Britain’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. The unique feature about IFA is the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location. Operating from a 680 000ft2 facility in Sheffield, we manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector.
As a Key Account Manger one day will never be the same as the next, however, on a typical day you might find yourself:
- Updating our key customer on the status of their contract
- Managing the customer schedules and making variations to the plan when needed
- Ensuring that the data in the ERP system is up to date and accurate
- Drafting reports for internal and external partners
- Considering and implementing improvements
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
- You should enjoy talking to our customers.
- Get a buzz out of hitting our targets.
- You are likely to have some experience at this type of role previously.
- You will have great organisational and IT skills
- You are likely to be qualified to A level standard or similar.
