Castlefield are working on behalf of a fast paced and progressive organisation in the South Yorkshire region to assist them with the search for a Senior Finance Manager. This is an established and complex organisation that would be the perfect home for an experienced Finance Manager who is looking for a new challenge. Role:
- Responsible for the management of a financial and commercial services team
- Play a leading role on the development of the organisation’s financial strategy
- Act as a leader and contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable and effective Strategies and Policies which align to corporate and directorate strategy
- Partner with heads of service and act as a champion for continuous improvement especially around financial transformation projects
- Lead on the preparation of appropriate reports, business plans and forecasts, especially budget monitoring reports, in accordance with predetermined timescales and deadlines
Person:
- You will be a qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with 5+ experience in similar roles
- Advanced IT skills comprising Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SAP or equivalent
- Possess experience in a large, complex accounting environment with proven technical accounting skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and planning
- You will have a proven track record in staff management
- Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports
