• Manage and develop a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert advisory services
• Lead a team of tax professionals, offering guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality client service
• Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation
• Provide strategic tax planning advice, including inheritance tax (IHT) and business structuring
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the tax department

• At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in personal tax
• Qualified by experience also considered
• A proven ability to manage a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including complex and contentious cases
• Experience in line management and mentoring junior staff
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
• Excellent time management skills to meet a variety of strict deadlines
• Experience in tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
