Role Responsibilities- Manage and develop a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert advisory services
- Lead a team of tax professionals, offering guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality client service
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Provide strategic tax planning advice, including inheritance tax (IHT) and business structuring
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the tax department

- At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in personal tax
- Qualified by experience also considered
- A proven ability to manage a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including complex and contentious cases
- Experience in line management and mentoring junior staff
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
- Excellent time management skills to meet a variety of strict deadlines
- Experience in tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
