The Company: Nationally renowned IFA firm with a site in Dinnington looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to their technical support structure in support of two high-performing advisers:

  • Office Location: Dinngton, South Sheffield
  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - 3-days office, 2-days WFH

Package: ÂŁ35-37k DOE + discretionary bonus and full company benefits

  • Benefits: Pension, 4xDIS, 25-days holiday + stats & full study support to Diploma via the CII
  • Bonus: Discretionary, paid annually

The Role: To work closely with our Advisers to service Clients’ advice needs, conduct detailed research on both clients’ existing and potential arrangements. Once assessed against the clients’ financial objectives, you will produce timely and compliant financial planning reports providing an excellent standard of client service:

  • Write Financial Planning Reports for our Advisers to present to clients.
  • Support Advisers by conducting research on products and helping find the right solutions for our clients.
  • Assisting with reviews and requests, acting as a point of contact for our clients’ day-to-day queries
  • Arranging for plans to be submitted to company providers.
  • Maintain client records on company software, ensuring all files are well-presented, accurate and compliant.
  • Prepare client review packs and conduct Illustration requests.
  • Keep up to date with financial products and legislation.
  • Comply with all firm and industry guidelines, rules and regulations.

The Person: The successful candidate must come from a wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth focused advice environment. Product research and report writing experience is very much required:

  • Essential: Adviser support experience in a private wealth environment
  • Essential: Research and full paraplanning/reporting skills
  • Desirable: The full QCF Level 4 Diploma is desirable, with part-qualified professionals also considered
