A growing and client-focused financial planning firm is seeking a Senior Technical Paraplanner to take ownership of the technical output within the firm. This role is ideal for an experienced paraplanner who thrives on providing high-level technical support and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the 'go-to’ person for technical queries within the team
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members
  • Monitor and update financial planning tools, research software, and calculators
  • Develop and implement advice strategies, including cash flow modelling, retirement planning, and tax-efficient investing
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of all financial advice delivered
  • Conduct due diligence, research, and investment analysis
  • Prepare suitability reports and client presentations
  • Oversee provider illustrations, applications, and investment information
  • Monitor client objectives and business pipelines

What do we need from you?

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in paraplanning
  • Strong knowledge of holistic financial planning, including pensions, investments, and inheritance tax planning
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status would be of most interest, but the Level 4 Diploma is essential
  • Experience in training and supervising other team members (desired)
