Our clients two year trainee programme is for under graduates in their final year of their studies or the candidate who is looking for career change and either working towards or has completed the CII Diploma Level 4 in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent), and needs support in industry to progress and build on their experience.

You will be fully immersed in our day to day activities, based in the Sheffiled Head Office,gaining industry experience and test driving a career in financial services. Training will be on going and based on your skill needs and interests which allows the opportunity to work on real responsibilities alongside our people.You will look at all aspects of the practice and what it means to be a client, through face to face and written communication. This will include being aware of the client journey, ensuring that excellent service is delivered and participating in hosting events and building relationships with clients.Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to the Practice to ensure that the Partner’s relationships between their clients can be optimised and assist with the daily operation of the office and prepare technical reports for advisors in the practice, following their Client meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain compliant client files through internal systems.
  • Implement the advisors recommendations to the client and any supporting documentation required.
  • Follow core modules that represent the foundations of professional financial advice and learn processes to meet advice guidance.
  • Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication
  • Liaising with clients on behalf of advisors and ensure excellent service is delivered
  • To have an awareness and understanding analyses of clients’ attitude to risk in accordance with their financial planning decisions.
  • Progress applications with product providers, advisers, clients, and other third parties to ensure that each case completes in a timely manner.
  • Introducing potential clients to the Practice and understanding the process to grow referrals
