Debt Recovery Manager

This highly respected UK-wide organisation is keen to hire an experienced Debt Recovery Manager to join its team in Sheffield.

You’ll become a key part of this forward-thinking firm which is expanding its already substantial debt recovery offering.

As the Debt Recovery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding the firm’s debt recovery services. Leading an established team, you will drive strategic development, ensure legal and technical compliance, and foster relationships with key clients. You will also oversee operational improvements and maintain a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing the debt recovery team, including recruitment, training, and system development
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Monitoring the team’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Overseeing the development of the firm’s debt recovery system

About You:

You are a proven leader with a track record in debt recovery. You will bring significant experience in managing people, developing strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive knowledge of debt recovery processes, including litigation and non-litigation routes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in recruitment and training
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets, while maintaining client satisfaction
