Machine Tool Service Engineer (PLC Training)£45,000 - £50,000 (OTE 55K) + Car + 25 Days Holiday + BenefitsSheffield, YorkshireAre you someone who has maintained machine tools looking to become a fully qualified Technician, learning PLC and Fanuc programming through a learning academy and external manufacturer certificates?

In the role you will be servicing and maintaining a wide range of machine tools and industrial robots. You will be covering a Yorkshire patch, within a 2 hour radius. If going further afar you will have an expensed hotel stay - this could be up to 2 nights a week.The core hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30-5:30, with an early finish on Friday. There are no mandatory weekends or weekday overtime, but there is the option on weekends to increase you earnings.This company are a market leader in Machine tools manufacture and distribution who have continually grown since their establishment in the 1970s to the point they have a major presence across the UK and Ireland.This role would suit a Service or Maintenance Engineer from a machine tool background looking for expert training to upskill and a local patch.The Role:

  • Routine service and reactive maintenance of machine tools and industrial robots
  • Training on PLC programming, Fanuc programming and electrical work
  • Visiting sites around Yorkshire, staying away upto 2 nights a week
  • Company Car, all expenses covered and optional weekend overtime

The Person:

  • Knowledge of Machine Tool Maintenance
  • Mechanical and Hydraulic background
  • UK Driving License
