- Produce cores up to 60 tonnes using staple bars, rails, lifters, etc.
- Cast moulds up to 650 tonnes in boxes and pits, following best practices and preparing them for casting.
- Perform basic slinging tasks as required.
- Participate in the casting process.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Perform housekeeping duties to uphold cleanliness and safety in the work areas.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Completed apprenticeship as a Moulder/Core Maker.
- Previous experience in a similar Moulder/Core Maker role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with working in a foundry environment.
- Ability to work at height and in high-temperature settings.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
