AV Support Desk Engineer

Sheffield - office based

Salary - £35k-£45k

Full time permanent role

Monday to Friday on a shift pattern between 8am - 6pm

My client who are an AV service and solutions company based in Sheffield, are seeking an experienced AV professional in the role of Support Desk, managing 2nd line and 3rd line AV escalations.

Duties:

  • Dealing with incoming ticket enquiries that can range from connection issues within Team's rooms, Audio Network Faults, system offline faults, maintenance issues and more
  • Responding to ticket enquiries with agreed service level agreements and timings
  • Providing the support the customer needs remotely
  • Where issues cannot be resolved remotely, attend client sites to resolve tickets / replace hardware (this happens approximately twice a month)
  • Complete a detailed service audit report for every onsite visit and communicate findings to both the client and management
  • Create, update, and manage client-specific knowledge bases to ensure accurate documentation
  • Assist with the development of user guides and troubleshooting documents for clients
  • Assisting with test calls for newly commissioned solutions
  • Maintain asset records for all installations and actively manage any changes in customer assets

Experience:

  • You will ideally have experience in the commissioning of AV systems
  • Field experience within corporate AV such as Teams Rooms etc
  • AV Engineering experience
  • AV knowledge - ideally Logitech / Poly / Lenovo / Crestron / Extron / QSYS / Shure / Biamp
  • Full UK Driving Licence
