JRS Associates have teamed up with a business with a great name in the local area, we're looking to addan experiencedContracts Metallurgist with keyexperience and understandingto the team.

Main Purpose of Job:
To ensure all aspects of contract review are completed correctly and the requirements
are flowed down to the operational environment to provide fully compliant parts to
customer requirements. To ensure all documentation is completed and supplied to the
relevant stakeholders both internal and external to maintain compliance and minimise
product liability. To provide technical expertise to all aspects of the organisation.

The SuccessfulContracts Metallurgist- Package:

- Competitive Salary discussed with suitable applicants

- Day Hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

The Successful Contracts Metallurgist -Knowledge / AttitudeRequired:

-Degree or HND in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering

- Minimum of 5 years in industry experience

- Experience in melting, hot working, and testing

- Experience in writing procedures and training employees across a business.

- Experience of Quality Management Reviews and FMEAs

- Worked within Continuous Improvement cultures

- Experience with reviewing manufacturing routes to ensure compliance

- Worked within metal stockholding or producer, ideally with nickel-based alloys

- Experience in writing technical reports

- Experience of working with OEM technical specifications and Quality requirements

- Experience of error proofing

- Good problem-solving skills with a good understanding and experience in using
methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma
