Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused on their work.

- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

- Support students with their learning, providing guidance where necessary.

- Liaise with teachers and school staff to provide feedback on student progress.

- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Cover Supervisor Job Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students.

- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
