If so, GSL Education are seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in the Sheffield area. Both day-to-day and full-time opportunities are available, with competitive pay of £95 - £105 per day.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people or those considering a career in teaching.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

Supervise and manage students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher.
Ensure students stay focused and complete pre-set work.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
