Cutting Operations & Press Brake Draughtsman

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Salary: 31k+ (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Adept are working with one of the largest and most diverse specialist profile cutting companies in the UK. We're looking for a dynamic and skilled individual to program our CNC 3D Waterjet, Flamecutting, and Press Brake machines. If you're not already proficient, don't worry - full training is provided! You'll work closely with the sales team to ensure production runs smoothly through efficient nesting and time planning, all while helping out with customer queries.
What You'll Do:
- Program cutting machines (Bystronic Press Brake, WJS 3D Waterjet, Flamecutting machinery)
- Maximise material yield through smart nesting
- Handle job orders and scheduling
- Collaborate with sales to solve customer queries
- Spot and suggest production improvements
- Manage your time effectively
What We're Looking For:
- Proficient in Maths, English, and computer literate (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong CAD skills and experience reading/producing technical drawings
- Experience programming cutting machines (laser, flame, waterjet) and press brakes
- SolidWorks experience preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of Bystronic, Trumpf, and Waterjet Sweden software is a bonus
- A team player who can also work independently, manage workloads, and pay attention to detail
