We are searching for an enthusiastic Fire Damper Engineer, with a successful track record of working within the industry. Ideally you will have training and qualifications which are industry-relevant as well a keen eye for detail and meticulous work ethic. The company is a respected and professional multi-disciplined outfit, with a nationwide presence. Due to the nature of the role, our Client can also accept applications from other areas of the country, so we can accept candidates who are outside of the below areas. Ideally you will be located in: Sheffield, Doncaster, Pontefract, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Worksop, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby, Coalville, Leicester, Tamworth, Chesterfield, Matlock, Cannock, Stafford, Stourbridge, Nuneaton, Melton Mowbray, Coventry, Rugby, Solihull, Redditch.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer for a Fire Safety / Air Hygiene outfit
- Ideally you will hold some or all of the following qualifications: IPAF, PASMA, CSCS
- An excellent understanding of working to TR19 and BS9999 guidelines
- Access to the M1 would be beneficial for travel to sites
- Hardworking and reliable manner
The Role:
- Completing inspections, installations repairs and testing of Fire Dampers
- Working across a wide variety of Client sites, including: Commercial, Food & Beverage, Industrial and Public Sector
- Highlighting and reporting any technical issues on site and recommending repairs
- Updating logbooks and keeping thorough written records of works
- Being flexible to travel as per company requirements
- Great training and development opportunities
