A Sheffield-based Technology company is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer for a permanent position.
Candidates should have a strong background in FPGA design and development, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves creating detailed specifications, verifying designs, and ensuring quality deliverables meet timelines and standards.
The position requires at least 3 years of experience in FPGA engineering, with responsibilities including design calculations and contributions to design reviews.
Salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.

A Sheffield-based, rapidly growing Technology success story is recruiting for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

Candidates will take full ownership of FPGAs and must be comfortable working with all stages of design and development. It will suit someone who is used to multi-tasking several projects at the same time and happy with a fast paced environment.

Role

Create detailed specifications for FPGA interfaces and other devices.
Verify FPGA designs, including creating test benches
Ensure deliverables meet quality, specifications and timelines, adhering to relevant standards.
Perform design calculations/simulations and prototyping to estimate performance, reliability and mitigate high-risk areas
Contribute to design reviews.
Provide support for existing products and collaborate with the technical support team as needed.
