About The Role:

As a General Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and supported in their learning. Key responsibilities of General Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity in students’ learning.
• Adapt teaching styles and methods to meet the needs of different classrooms and year groups.
• Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and lesson plans, ensuring students remain on track with the curriculum.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, encouraging progress and academic development.
• Support school leadership and colleagues, contributing to the wider school community.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding protocols and school behaviour management policies.

The successful candidate will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE in secondary education.
• Subject specialism is beneficial but not essential, as flexibility across subjects is key.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply – we provide opportunities for professional development.
• Strong adaptability and resilience, with the ability to manage different classroom settings effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for engaging students in their learning.
• A commitment to fostering student progress and maintaining high teaching standards.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
