Job Summary

The post involves providing technical support to the Technical team for routine production.



Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing mechanical and chemical test results against customer specification and liaising with the test laboratory.
  • The validation of heat treatment charts, both in-house and sub-contractors.
  • Validating SAT reports.
  • Be involved with the certification of product.
  • Involvement with internal audits and completing them as scheduled by the business.
  • Processing orders and enquiries including technical contract review, route generation and assignment and the generation of any necessary quality and method control documentation.

Skills Experience and Qualification

  • Metallurgy or Materials Science degree level qualification.
  • A solid understanding of the physical metallurgy of steel and nickel-based alloys.
