Academics is a respected teaching agency working alongside primary schools across Sheffield to fill both short and long-term vacancies.

We're currently looking for enthusiastic HLTA candidates who are keen to support schools across North Sheffield. Whether you're looking to gain more classroom experience this academic year or you're already thinking ahead to September, we can help. Our roles are flexible and include opportunities to work in a variety of schools with support from a team who understand education and training.

• Step into HLTA roles across primary schools in North Sheffield.

• Choose from short-term, long-term or potential permanent placements.

• Support class teachers and deliver planned lessons in your specialist areas.

• Receive expert guidance from our friendly team who specialise in education and training.

• Level 4 HLTA qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification is essential.

• A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

• Adaptability, reliability, and a genuine interest in education and training.

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly beneficial.

• A solid understanding of phonics would be advantageous.

• Work with Matt, our consultant with 17 years' experience in teaching and leadership.

• Earn up to £125 for referring other education professionals.
