GSL Education is seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to join our team, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students across secondary schools in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality humanities lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 

  • Foster curiosity and critical thinking through engaging and creative teaching methods 

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of students 

  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to encourage academic growth 

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum content and contribute to school initiatives 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 

  • Degree in Humanities or a related subject 

  • Experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level (preferred) 

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) 

  • Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
