TeacherActive is on the lookout for passionate Cover Supervisors to join our secondary schools in Sheffield. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step in when teachers are away, ensuring the class keeps moving smoothly. You’ll get to dive into a variety of subjects and engage with students – no two days are the same!

What Will You Be Doing?
Every day is different, but here’s a glimpse of your exciting role:
- Leading pre-planned lessons across a mix of subjects (hello, variety!)
- Keeping the classroom on track and students engaged
- Helping students with their tasks and answering questions
- Collecting work and passing it back to the teacher
- Reporting any class issues, behaviours, or achievements
- Handling any surprises (emergencies? You’ve got it covered!) following the school’s procedures

Qualifications like the Level 2 or 3 Awards/Certificates in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are a bonus but not essential.
