This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Property Lawyer to join a forward-thinking firm that values innovation, client service, and professional development.The Role:Manage and Drive Property TransactionsAs a Property Lawyer, you will handle your own caseload of new build purchases, sales, leasehold, and shared ownership transactions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions while meeting individual targets and business KPIs.Key Responsibilities:* Caseload Management: Independently manage a diverse portfolio of property transactions with support from an assistant where appropriate. * Performance Targets: Achieve individual and team KPIs, ensuring all transactions progress efficiently. * Client Communication: Deliver first-class customer service through proactive communication via phone, email, and meetings. * Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with solicitors, estate agents, and professional organisations to ensure smooth transactions. * Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML legislation, CQS standards, and SRA compliance obligations. * Technology Utilisation: Use the firm's bespoke case management system to progress files efficiently and maintain accurate records. * Training & Development: Participate in training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings. * Leadership: Act as a role model in file management, actions, and client interactions. What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you'll bring: * Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role (senior levels also considered). * Technical Expertise: Confidence in handling leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions. * Client-Focused Approach: Strong communication and client service skills. * Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and targets. * System Proficiency: Experience using case management systems, the Land Registry Portal, and online SDLT submissions. * Attention to Detail: A structured, risk-based approach to conveyancing. * Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of AML legislation, CQS requirements, and SRA compliance obligations.
