Job Title: Sales Administrator (12 Months FTC)

Working hours: Monday – Thursday (8:30 – 5:00) & Friday (8:30 – 3:30) Requirement to attend 2 short stock audit sessions on a Saturday morning in the year (approx. 4 hours)

They are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to support within their sales team in optimising sales operations. This role is a 12 month contract. 

You will have the opportunity to interpret and process sales orders in an accurate and timely manner, resolve order queries and customer relationship development.

The role sits within an extremely busy fast paced environment and is suitable for candidates with both strong administration and decision-making skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receiving, logging and processing customer enquiries.
  • Processing orders.
  • Responding to customer order progress requests and liaising with the production, purchasing and despatch teams as required.
  • Work with other internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and accurate pricing is achieved, (e.g. technical, financial, production).
  • Work closely with the despatch team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of orders.
  • Project manage enquiries from order intake to delivery as required.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Strong team player, along with an ability to work on won initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills.
  • Strong administration and commercial knowledge, preferably within a manufacturing background.
