My client, a large Plant company operating nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Service Controller to join their team.
The Role of Service Controller Includes:
- Handling Enquiries:Responding to hire and service enquiries via telephone, email, and our online ordering system.
- Breakdown Management:Managing calls from customers and arranging for engineers to attend breakdowns promptly.
- Job Card Management:Updating job cards on the internal database and allocating jobs efficiently.
- Machine Availability:Checking the availability of machines and ensuring their status is always up-to-date in our systems.
- Coordination:Collaborating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure the correct machines are ready and delivered to customer sites.
- Customer Service:Communicating effectively with colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
- Industry Experience:Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organisational Skills:Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving:Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve service issues efficiently.
- Team Player:Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
