My client, a large Plant company operating nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Service Controller to join their team.
The Role of Service Controller Includes:
  • Handling Enquiries:Responding to hire and service enquiries via telephone, email, and our online ordering system.
  • Breakdown Management:Managing calls from customers and arranging for engineers to attend breakdowns promptly.
  • Job Card Management:Updating job cards on the internal database and allocating jobs efficiently.
  • Machine Availability:Checking the availability of machines and ensuring their status is always up-to-date in our systems.
  • Coordination:Collaborating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure the correct machines are ready and delivered to customer sites.
  • Customer Service:Communicating effectively with colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
Ideal Candidate for Service Controller :
  • Industry Experience:Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
  • Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
