Night Care Assistant

Location: Sheffield

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our nursing home in Sheffield.

Position Details:
  • Salary: £11.65 - £12.20 per hour (depending on NVQs)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift Times: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Schedule: Includes alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality care and support to our residents during the night.
  • Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitoring residents' health and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Responding to call bells promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided during the shift.
  • Supporting the emotional well-being of residents by creating a safe and caring environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • A warm, caring, and patient nature.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (beneficial for higher pay rate).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to providing person-centered care.
