About the role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and inspire a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality care possible for service users in various homes across South Yorkshire. You will be expected to take charge of the unit and assist the manager when needed. You will be responsible to the administration of medications to service users in line with all policies and procedures of the home. To liase with other healthcare practitioners to maintain the health and wellbeing of the service users in your care
About you
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be passionate about caring for older people, have previous care experience and, as a minimum, hold an NVQ level 3 in health and social Care. In addition, you will have experience leading andmotivating a team to deliver high quality care to service users within the home setting.
You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative. Patience, communication and listening skills are equally important. Maintaining accurate records, time management and prioritizing tasks will also be strengths.
