GSL Education are actively seeking a committed and proficient Business Studies Teacher to join our welcoming school in Sheffield. The role will be pivotal in guiding students towards realizing their full potential in this subject.

The Role:

As a Business Studies Teacher you could teach a variety of business-related subjects including business practice and management, accounting, information technology, administration and economics. And you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also enthusiastic about making Business Studies accessible and enjoyable for students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities of Business Studies Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Business Studies lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student can excel.
• Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make Business Studies relevant and captivating for students.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Essential Requirements of Business Studies Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT or equivalent, specialized in Business Studies or a related field.
• Teaching certification in Business Studies or Information Technology is desirable.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies in an educational setting is highly preferable.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
