Role Overview:

Computer Science Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured lessons in Computer Science, tailored to the needs of students at varying ability levels.
  • Introduce students to programming languages, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay updated with advancements in technology and incorporate them into your teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a cohesive and dynamic ICT/Computing department.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a tech-savvy and enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching Computer Science. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and computing technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students, nurturing a love for technology.
  • A commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
