About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to work with several schools in Sheffield. These positions will involve supporting schools with their cover needs, whether for day-to-day assignments, longer-term placements, or permanent positions, depending on your preferences.
As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching a variety of computing topics, including programming, software development, and digital literacy.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to students at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and post-16.
- Adapting to different Sheffield school environments and building positive relationships with staff and students.
- Inspiring a love for technology and fostering problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Requirements for the Computer Science Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Computer Science in secondary schools.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons for different learning needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
