Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Full-time / Temporary 

Sheffield 
£21,000 - £25,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)  
January 2025 – July 2025 

 

The School and Role  

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Higher- Level Teaching Assistant to start a long-term, temporary requirement at a Primary School in Sheffield. The role will be initially to cover PPA time across school however, it would be desired to have knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and a passion for Forest School. The schools' requirements are: 

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner 

  • To have experience working with children with SEN and additional needs 

  • To have good knowledge of safeguarding  

  • To be able to create good relationships with pupils, parents and carers and staff members 

The school is a fast-paced environment with exceptionally supportive and outward facing leadership team. You will need strong behaviour management skills to work successfully in this school and have a firm but fair approach to teaching.  

 

Requirements  

The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;  

  • Have an excellent understanding of how children learn  

  • Motivate and inspire children  

  • Have a positive working attitude and committed to continually improve teaching practice
