Elevation Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a well-established commercial, corporate Sheffield-based business to find a Head of People who will drive people strategy, foster a strong company culture, and build a high-performing workforce.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Head of People will include:

  • Leading and evolving all aspects of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to performance and training
  • Partnering with senior leaders to enhance engagement and talent development
  • Delivering valuable HR insights and data to support business strategy
  • Shaping and embedding a culture that reflects the company’s values
  • Creating an outstanding hiring and onboarding experience
  • Keeping policies and processes ahead of evolving employment legislation
  • Designing impactful learning, development, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Managing the HR and L&D teams to deliver exceptional results

Key skills & experience required for this role:

  • Proven HR leadership experience (Leadership HR level)
  • Strong operational & Strategic HR expertise with a drive for innovation and improvement
  • Develop and implement the People strategy with the ability to influence at Board level
  • A commercial and strategic mindset with excellent people skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices in performance management
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Flexibility to travel as required to UK sites
