Regional / Cluster HR Manager - 12 month FTC. South Yorkshire and North West areas. Circa £45000 DOE plus excellent benefits.

Your new roleThis UK based company with several sites in the leisure arena are seeking a Cluster / Regional HR Manager for their Sheffield site and 2 sites in the North West (near Blackburn) for a 12 month FTC (there maybe a permanent role in the future due to company growth)

Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely with the Site Operations Directors/ General Managers you will be the regional Point of Contact for all HR related issues.

You will provide a full generalist HR and people service - covering all aspects of HR, recruitment, employee lifecycle and employee relations. You will also drive the people agenda and strategy of the group concentrating on engagement, L&D/upskilling and group focussed initiatives.

All the sites you will cover are unique:

  • Sheffield - new opening in autumn 2024. New employees and management team.
  • NW/Lancashire - some challenges (coaching and L&D required)
  • Blackburn - smaller site with a lot of long serving staff who are good performing a team. Minimal supervision

You will manage your own diary but expect to be in Sheffield 2 days a week and near Blackburn 2 days a week.This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor or a seasoned HR Business Partner / Manager to join a high performing organisation who is growing.

NB This role is regional - covering Sheffield and the North West. There is flexibility and some home working, but presence is needed on each of site.Mileage is paid to sites from your "base" site (the one closest to your home)

What you'll need to succeedA Generalist HR background in the leisure industry or a fast-paced environment / transferrable experience sector such as retail, manufacturing, logistics or care/homes.Be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level)Strong HR / ER knowledge and experiencePassionate about generalist HR provision and enhancing a performance culture through supporting and upskilling employees of all levels.Driving licence and car ownerWhat you'll get in return
