I am currently recruiting for a Junior Embedded and Electronics Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to 40,000 + Benefits.
This leading organisation has a rich history spanning over seven decades and they enjoy global acclaim as pioneers in designing and manufacturing their specialised products which ultimately make them market leaders. Their products serve a diverse array of industries and they collaborate with SMEs to multi-national Blue Chips across the world.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint another Junior Embedded and Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Junior Embedded and Electronics Design Engineer, you will be working in a multidisciplined engineering team and will be responsible for developing the necessary products from concept to manufacture. You will spend 70% of you time focused on the low-level firmware, specifically programming Embedded Software in C/C++. You will also get involved in electronics design such as PCB, Digital and Analogue, but the focus for this role is on the Embedded Software and utilising the necessary communication protocols for their products.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electronics Design Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer or similar
- At least 2 years commercial experience
- Experience in Firmware / Embedded Software specifically with C/C++
- Understanding of PCB design and Schematic capture
- Understanding or Digital
- Understanding of Analogue
