Test Lead with at least 4 years recent Selenium experience is sought by an innovation house based in Sheffield. With large scale investment in technical innovation this Test Lead will be joining a dynamic, autonomous team and take the lead on a manual to automated testing environment change that will facilitate the organisations commitment to cutting edge automation over the coming years. This Test Lead will be joining a highly skilled team that embodies an autonomous knowledge share driven culture allowing this individual the chance to work on greenfield projects using the latest technology. This role would suit a Tester who has operated at a senior or lead level for at least four years plus brings at least 3 years' experience writing test scripts and integrating automation tools utilised to test large scale, complex systems and who is happy to work closely with the Test Manager to help define a new automated QA process alongside mentoring the team in automation best practice. This Test Lead based near Sheffield should have most of the following key skills: - Extensive experience writing automated testing scripts at a senior level - Very strong recent selenium experience - Team mentorship/ leadership capabilities with the ability to lead the team through a shift from manual to automated testing - Proven experience testing complex application or systems across performance, stress & accessibility - Understanding of the software development lifecycle - Exposure to testing new features within a product led, tech driven environment - Impeccable communication skills as internal stakeholder management between technical teams will form a large part of this role - Any experience helping a company move from manual to automated testing would be really usual - Experience executing tests from Azure DevOps would be a plus - A real can-do attitude and a passion for technology in general - ISTQB Foundation is desirable The benefits for this role include: - Generous starting salary - Flexible, hybrid working (two days a week in the office) - One on one training scheme - 25 days holiday - Private healthcare - Private pension scheme - Annual pay reviews - Flexible working hours So if you are a Test Lead based near Sheffield and want to join a tech driven market leading organisation that is committed to ensuring they stay ahead of the tech curve then please apply now to be considered.
