We have a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation in South Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Scrum professional to help in the delivery of an exciting portfolio of digital transformation projects.

The Role:

As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in driving Agile best practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting development teams to deliver high-impact digital solutions. Working in a hybrid environment (Sheffield-based, 1-2 days in office), you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
Guide teams in Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles
Use JIRA to track progress, manage sprints, and report key project metrics
Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals

What We’re Looking For:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent Agile qualification OR an experienced Project Manager with a strong interest in transitioning into Scrum
Proven experience in Agile delivery within a digital, IT, or software development environment
Strong knowledge of JIRA and Agile frameworks
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
