Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Sheffield - £30k - £40k basic + excellent benefits

Our client is well established Insurance company, due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our forward-thinking team located in Sheffield. Having grown substantially since starting out, this is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a team focussed on providing first class coverage with a truly personal service to clients whilst minimising jargon and red tape far more than traditional insurance brokers.

Working alongside the directors and the existing team to support the continued growth of the business, the Commercial Insurance Account Handler will prepare submissions and negotiate with insurers to achieve the right outcome for the clients and themselves. You will review client requirements to ensure that their insurance programmes are suitable and relevant.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, the role involves dealing with their day-to-day queries effectively and efficiently whilst building rapport and developing relationships.

The ideal person will have:

  • Have a minimum of two years broking experience, you will have a strong understanding of the insurance market
  • Ideally, you will already have achieved a Cert CII and be working towards a DIP CII or willing to.
  • You will also have Maths and English GSCE grade C or above.
  • Previous experience working with commercial customers paying between £5,000 to £50,000 preferred
