Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a contact for communications requests
- Assess communications needs
- Develop and implement communications plans that support strategic ERS initiatives
- Ensure clear and on-brand messaging across all ERS communications channels
- Create engaging content, which is both platform and audience appropriate
- Maintain the ERS website and approve content for publishing
- Create/adapt images suitable for social media and web
- Use content management systems (CMS), mailing systems and social media channels to disseminate information
- Coordinate a bi-weekly newsletter
- General copywriting and editing
- Support the web redesign project as required
Profile
A successful Communications Coordinator should have:
- Demonstrable experience in a communications role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of different communication channels.
- Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and software.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
