MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair garage dedicated in providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. The repair centre is seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join their team in Sheffield.
As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to ensure they are completed to a high standard, adhering to the guidelines
- Preparing vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming surfaces
- You will need good knowledge of mixing paint, colour matching to achieve the correct colour and consistency to ensure a perfect and seamless finish
- You will have an array of experience with paint application, using various techniques
- You will also be responsible for masking, prepping, priming and polishing the vehicle
- Ensure a clean working environment
- You will adhere to the safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Working closely with the team
- Be able to manage your work load
As a Paint Technician, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Paint Technician in an accident repair centre / bodyshop
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive body repairs
- NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 / ATA Qualified
- Strong communication skills
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30AM to 4:30PM
