The Role

As part of a dynamic and progressive planning team, you will play a key role in delivering major infrastructure and development projects across various sectors, working with clients including National Highways, Homes England, HS2, local authorities, private developers, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on planning projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Acting as a lead consultant on multi-disciplinary projects, managing stakeholders and project timelines.
  • Supporting business growth through bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior planners.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders, maintaining and building strong relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with RTPI membership (or working towards it).
  • Proven experience working within a consultancy, developer, or local authority environment.
  • Strong knowledge of TCPA, DCO, and EIA processes.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
  • A proactive and driven approach, with a keen interest in sustainable planning and infrastructure.
