About the Role:We are partnering with a well-respected planning consultancy based in Sheffield, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to take the next step in their career, contributing to a variety of high-profile projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert planning advice to clients on a range of development projects.
- Preparing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents.
- Conducting site assessments and providing advice on site selection and development potential.
- Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community to facilitate smooth planning processes.
- Contributing to the growth and success of the business by delivering excellent service to clients.
About You:
- You will have a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline and be a Full Member of the RTPI (or eligible to achieve this).
- Proven experience in town planning, ideally within the private sector.
- Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Experience working on development projects in both urban and rural settings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to grow within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
