About the Role:

As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching languages to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially with opportunities to teach at A-Level. The school is seeking a dynamic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to develop their language skills, and contribute positively to the department. You will be supported by a committed leadership team and have access to excellent teaching resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach French, Spanish, German or another Modern Foreign Language to students aged 11-16 (Key Stage 3 and 4).
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement in language learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching MFL (French, Spanish, or German) at secondary school level.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for language teaching.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and possess a valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
